— What is Readine?
— Readine is a subscription reader without algorithms or ads. It supports Telegram channels, YouTube, Substack newsletters, Boosty and Fanbox (including paid tiers), websites with RSS/Atom, OPML import. Articles appear in publication order — exactly as you chose to follow them.
— Can I read Telegram channels in Readine?
— Yes. Add a public Telegram channel by URL — Readine starts fetching new posts and shows them alongside YouTube, Substack and other sources. No need to open Telegram.
— Can I read private/non-public Telegram channels in Readine?
— Yes, those are supported too. It's a paid feature — when adding the channel you'll need to provide the password/access. Posts then appear in Readine the same way as from public channels.
— Can I follow YouTube channels through Readine?
— Yes. Add YouTube channels and playlists by URL. New videos appear in Readine — with thumbnail and description, in publication order, no algorithm. The video itself opens in YouTube on click.
— Can I read Substack in Readine?
— Yes. Any Substack author is supported — just add by URL. New posts will arrive in Readine; you can read them offline with full text.
— Can I read Boosty and Fanbox in Readine?
— Yes. Add a Boosty or Fanbox author by URL. Free posts appear in Readine right away. Access to paid tiers — via paid subscription, you'll need to provide the password/access.
— Is Readine an alternative to Feedly or Inoreader?
— Yes. Migrate your subscriptions from Feedly or Inoreader via OPML in 5 minutes. On top of RSS, Readine adds Telegram channels, YouTube, Substack, Boosty and Fanbox (including paid tiers).
— Is Readine an alternative to Pocket or Instapaper?
— Not really. Pocket / Instapaper save individual articles to read later; Readine follows your chosen sources and brings new content automatically. Different jobs.
— Does Readine show ads or use an algorithmic feed?
— No. Readine has no ads and no algorithmic feed — articles appear in publication order. No "you might also like" recommendations. We don't sell data, we don't use cookies.
— Does Readine work offline?
— Yes. Articles are downloaded ahead of time, you can read without a network — full text and images. Sync catches up on the next connection. Videos are not stored offline.
— What devices does Readine run on?
— Readine is available on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows and Ubuntu/Debian, plus a web version. Sources, read-state and notes sync across all your devices.
— How much does Readine cost?
— Exact pricing depends on the modules you choose and is shown inside the app. The subscription is modular: you pay only for the modules you need — rules, notifications, Obsidian/Dropbox export, faster refresh. Alternative: free plan (3 feeds) or trial (10 feeds, 3 weeks).
— Does Readine support OPML import and export?
— Yes. Readine supports both OPML import and export — the standard format for subscriptions. Migrate from Feedly, Inoreader and other readers, and export your subscriptions any time — we don't lock you in.
— Does Readine support keyword notifications?
— Yes. Keyword notifications: push to your device or email, whenever the keyword is mentioned in any source. No noise on every post — only what you've explicitly flagged. Available in the paid subscription.
— Can I export articles to Obsidian?
— Yes. Readine can automatically copy what you've read into your Obsidian vault — as files. Do whatever you want with them: your AI, your scripts, your archive.
— Does Readine support export to cloud storage?
— Yes. Read articles are automatically copied to Dropbox (or a compatible storage) as files — use them as a personal archive, feed them to your AI, or run them through scripts.
— What can rules in Readine do?
— Readine lets you create rules: each rule is an automated action triggered by a condition. Actions: delete, mark as read, add to favorites, tag, export, send push or email notification. Applied to one feed, several, or all at once.
